Alumni networking is one of the main tasks of the B2BLOCO Baltic to Balkan Network for Logistic Competence project. Establishing and tightening already existing links with graduates is one of the means used by the project partners to reach a wide spectrum of audience with information about Framework Programs. This Alumni Social Network is dedicated and will be carried out by nine universities of the consortium within the Project.
The activities of the B2B LOCO project are mainly oriented towards small and medium enterprises dealing in the field of Transport & Logistics – therefore our mission is to extend standard alumni networks to attract Transport & Logistics SMEs via Consortium Partners alumni, of whom a part consists of employees or owners of SMEs.
The B2BLOCO alumni network will offer information about most business practice-oriented results of past and current RTD projects of the Framework Programmes in the field of logistics and transport, as well as on meetings or workshops on the subject. The main purpose of this knowledge transfer is to raise awareness of the SMEs of opportunities provided by FPs and to stimulate their participation in the FP’s projects. The main challenge of this network is to attract the graduates of all nine universities to join the network and then to maintain their active participation.
